A March Morning Prayer for New Mercy
Father God, thank You for waking me up to another day. As this new morning opens, I welcome Your mercy that is fresh and steady, even when my heart feels tired.
I don’t want to rush ahead in my own strength—so I pause and invite You into every part of today.
Lord, wash my mind from yesterday’s noise. Quiet the anxious thoughts, soften any bitterness, and lift the heaviness I carried to bed. Give me a clean spirit and a hopeful outlook.
Teach me to notice Your goodness in small moments: the calm breath, the sunlight, the simple chance to start again.
Today, I ask for wisdom in my choices, patience in my conversations, and courage in what I’ve been avoiding. Help me speak with kindness, work with excellence, and love without keeping score.
When my plans change, keep me flexible. When I feel overwhelmed, remind me You are near. When I feel confident, keep me humble.
Cover my home and everyone I love with protection and peace. Lead me away from distractions that drain my joy, and guide me toward what builds faith and purpose.
Let this day be shaped by Your presence, not my pressure.
Thank You for new mercy, new strength, and new possibilities. I trust You with this morning and everything that follows.
