Proverbs 3:5 – Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Short Devotional
Life often presents situations we cannot explain or control. Our natural response is to rely on logic, feelings, or past experiences. Yet Proverbs 3:5 calls us to a deeper kind of faith—one that trusts God completely, even when we do not understand His ways.
Trusting the Lord with all our heart means surrendering worry, fear, and the need to have every answer. God sees the full picture while we only see a small part. When we release control and choose faith, we open the door for His wisdom, peace, and guidance to lead our steps.
Today, whatever you are facing, remember that God is faithful. His plans are higher, His timing is perfect, and His love never fails. You can rest knowing He is working all things for your good.

Short Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
Help me to trust You with all my heart and not rely on my own understanding. When I feel uncertain, remind me that Your plans are perfect and Your love never fails. Fill me with peace as I place every worry into Your hands. Guide my steps today and strengthen my faith. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
