Good Night Prayer, Lord — Rest in Your Presence
God, as I’m winding down tonight, I just want to take a moment to talk to You. Thank You for getting me through today—for keeping me safe in ways I probably didn’t even notice, and for loving me no matter what.
I’m handing over everything that’s been weighing on me—all the stress, the worry, the things I can’t control. I know You’ve got this.
Tonight, I’m asking for peace. My mind’s been racing, and I just need some clarity and rest. Please watch over my heart and my dreams.
Help me feel You close, like You’re right here with me, reminding me that I’m not alone—even when everything’s quiet.
I’m sorry for the times I messed up today—the things I said without thinking, anything I did that hurt someone, or the moments I just wasn’t my best self. Help me let that go and start fresh tomorrow.
Please keep my family and everyone I love safe tonight. Let Your light push back any darkness, and be my safe place when I need it most. As I close my eyes, I’m choosing to trust You completely. Your promises are real, and Your peace is something I can actually count on.
Thank You for always being here. Stay with me through the night, and help me wake up tomorrow feeling renewed and ready to live the way You’re calling me to.
