A nighttime prayer expressing gratitude for the day, asking God to replace worry with peace, and recognizing His presence in both big moments and small everyday blessings.
It focuses on thankfulness rather than requests, and ends with trust in God’s constant love.

God, as I wind down tonight and everything gets quiet, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for today—for the good moments, the hard ones that made me stronger, and all the little blessings I probably didn’t even notice.
I’m not coming to you with a list of requests tonight. I just want to be grateful. Thank you for always giving me another chance, for somehow getting me through the tough stuff, and for that unexplainable calm I feel even when things are messy.
I’m thankful for the people in my life and for those small reminders that you’re there—a cool breeze, someone’s kindness, or just being able to rest.
As I get ready for sleep, help me let go of the worries and the what-ifs. Let me actually rest, knowing you’re with me. I hope gratitude fills my mind tonight and that I wake up with a lighter heart tomorrow.
Help me remember to notice you in the everyday things, and to find something to be thankful for even when life gets hard.
Tonight, I’m resting in the fact that your love doesn’t change and that you bring me peace.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Bible Verse:
